Act Influera is the Örebro student union's campaign for sustainable development. The purpose of the campaign is to draw attention to the importance of sustainable development from several perspectives - not least the importance of sustainable development in education. Influence sustainability in education at national level.

In order to safeguard the students future, Örebro student union and Örebro University need to strive to be at the forefront of environmental issues, with the support of social and economic issues to support the environmental perspective. A general definition of the term "sustainable development" is development that meets today's needs without jeopardizing the ability of future generations to meet their needs. Since the students are the future, it is in the students interest to protect it.

The university should also take greater responsibility and work for the environmental/social/economic issues that the next generation is facing. An increased knowledge among the university's courses in itself would also lead to a better understanding of how both as a group and as an individual you can work sustainably. A joint effort for sustainable development would not only be beneficial for the environment, but would also increase the reputation of the universities and the student body in general.

Örebro student union believes:

  • Örebro student union and Örebro University must work for sustainable development by taking environmental, social and economic issues into account in their activities.

  • A long-term goal for Örebro student union and Örebro University must be to take great account of the environment and the social and economic issues that that consideration entails in daily operations

  • At universities, there must be guidelines for how the employees can work from a more sustainable perspective.

  • Both the Örebro student union and Örebro University must strive to, for example, work for a reduced consumption of paper, improved opportunities for source sorting and the inclusion of sustainable development in the programs and courses where the subject is relevant.
