The Sobra section is a non-partisan, religious and union union section within the Örebro student union. The corps section mainly works with education monitoring and the study social part. Sobra is under the department JPS, which includes programs and courses in law, psychology and social work. All students studying programs and courses during the academy can choose to belong to the Sobra section.

Sobra is not organized under the university, but as part of the Örebro student union. Like all other associations, Sobra has a board with a chairman, a secretary, a treasurer, etc. It is through the union section that students can best exercise influence over the quality of their own educations.
